Modern Family product launch

Google selected Modern Family to help with the launch of Google Home smart speaker. As the writer and producer of the episode I was tasked with developing and executing a product placement that could display the capabilities of the device seamlessly within our narrative.

Modern Family was chosen for its consistent reach of millions of viewers across demographics and its sharp humor. Google was looking to showcase the Google Home's ability to work within the home setting and the ease in which it could control other synced devices.

New Balance

"Early Bird"

Ryan grew up running in Massachusetts, home of New Balance and some of the fastest average marathon times in the country. Walking to school early, he'd pass runners already finishing their morning miles, every season, every kind of weather, all in New Balance. This campaign celebrates the runners who are first ones out every morning.

Mass Lottery

"You Can't Do It If You Don't Play"

A riff on the classic "You Can't Win If You Don't Play" that leans into the first thing every lottery player dreams about: quitting their job. The campaign invites players to picture the big win and ask, "How will I do it when I win?"

Jack Daniel's

"The Rest Is Your Story"

For the brand's 150th anniversary: a toast to Jack's role in the meet-cute of millions of couples. We can't calculate how many of us are here thanks to Jack, but we can raise a glass to it. The campaign reframes your parents' first moments as the beginning of your story.

Carrots

"For Everything. Everything."

Role: Writer & Creative Director · Type: TV Spot

After a major carrot recall, this spot reminds people why they loved the vegetable in the first place. A carrot best friend spots our guy at the bench press, drives him home at night, and helps with his dental hygiene. And yes, studies have shown carrots help with one other thing, which is why the slogan ends the way it does.

Frame 01 — The Spot

ActionOur guy is bench pressing, struggling with the last rep. Orange hands come into frame. It's his reliable friend, Carrot, who helps him crush the last set. They high-five.

ActionOur guy is in bed reading. His girlfriend steps out of the closet in a negligee and smiles. The guy turns — reveal Carrot next to him in bed. He asks, "This too?" Carrot gives him a thumbs up.
